Mnemonics

Mnemonic 1: Just like with the Hiragana Mnemonic, this is also a fisherman’s hook. Imagine it has reeled in some ‘moss’ at the end of it.

Mnemonic 2: Take the hiragana symbol for “mo”, and modify it by moving the horizontal strokes upward a bit and flattening out the tail.
