Mnemonics
Mnemonic 1: This sword is sticking out of the ground, its former owner unknown, during the aftermath of a great battle. A ‘mess’ has been left on the battlefield, and there are lots of swords sticking out of the ground just like this one.
Mnemonic 2: On the side of the bottle of milk, a green tick is marked next to the words “suitable for drinking”. However, on the bottle of methylated spirit, there is a big red cross, like this.
