せ, in hiragana, or セ in katakana, is one of the Japanese kana, each of which represents one mora.
Mnemonic 1: Imagine this is a picture of a man sitting down, just like in the hiragana version. He is putting out his hand in rejection still, saying ‘sey sey sey’, however this time no one is there.
Mnemonic 2: This symbol is very similar to its hiragana equivalent. It shows the same Segway, but the strap has been torn and the occupant has disappeared. I fear some sort of accident may have occurred…
